What is Consignment?
Consignment is when you take your items to a consignment shop, they sell your items, and you receive a pre-set percentage of the sale price AFTER the items are sold.

CLOTHING: Juniors and Misses Sizes 00-18 including Scrubs, and Swimsuits.
ACCESSORIES: Purses, Belts, Costume Jewelry, Hats, Scarves, and Small Luggage.
SHOES: Quality, Clean/Polished and in Excellent Condition, All Sizes
DejaNu Consignment Boutique Does NOT ACCEPT:
Items from Kmart, Walmart, Shopko, Target, Old Navy, Payless Shoes and some department store brands including but not limited to the following brands: Basic Editions, Kathy Lee, Xhileration, Faded Glory, St. John's Bay, White Stag, Bobbie Brookes, Predictions, Mudd, Route 66, Kathy Ireland, Jaclyn Smith, No Boundaries, George, Hobo, Airwalk & Merona.

Consignments are accepted by Appointment only
How Long are my Items at DejaNu?
Your items are consigned for 60 days (Two Months!).
During the last week of the consignment period, you may PICK UP UNSOLD ITEMS VALUED OVER $35 at DejaNu Consignment Boutique’s initial price.
How much money can I make?
You will be amazed how much money you have sitting in your closet that you never wear! At DejaNu Consignment Boutique, you will receive 30% of the sale price of your items after they sell. In addition, YOU RECEIVE 15% OFF ALL YOUR REGULAR-PRICED PURCHASES* while you have items for sale at DejaNu!

DejaNu Consignment Acceptance Policy Guidelines:
Please check your items prior to bringing them in as I do not accept clothing that has pet hair or smells of smoke.
DejaNu will look at a limit of 20 Clothing items and 10 Accessory items per consignor per appointment, unless prior approval is received to bring more items.
All hangable must be presented on hangers, No exceptions!!! You will receive your hangers back!
Jeans can be brought in folded, with Shoes and accessories in a cute tote, or basket.
I will not look at clothing brought in Bags of any kind.****
In Season items-No wool sweaters in the summer and shorts in the winter.
Swimsuits are accepted year-around.
Current style-purchased NEW within the past two (2) years.
New or near-new condition.
Formal evening attire is only accepted October 15 through December 15. Unsold holiday attire must be picked up on or before January 7th or it will be donated.
Sizes- Juniors, Misses, and Plus Sizes 00 to 18
All items must be FRESHLY LAUNDERED, as DIRTY OR WRINKLED CLOTHING DOES NOT SELL- items must be free of: stains, odor (especially smoke), holes/tears, and pet hair. Fabric must not be stretched out, shrunken or pilling.
A SMALL FEE MAY APPLY, without notice to the consignor, if DejaNu has to launder clothing.
Guidelines for Footwear Accepted:
Soles and all surfaces must be washed before consigning ~ Leather must be polished if needed and shoes must have minimal show of wear on heels ~ No tears/holes ~ No excessive stretching ~Must be high quality or funky style.
A SMALL FEE MAY APPLY, without notice to the consignor, if DejaNu has to clean and polish shoes!
Guidelines for Accessories Accepted:
Must be clean and free of signs of wear
Must be high quality costume jewelry, clean, tarnish-free, not chipped or broken
Must be clean (please wash inside and outside)Purses, not broken or torn. Belts must be leather or quality cloth- No vinyl!
Must be clean and minimal sign of wear.
A SMALL FEE MAY APPLY, without notice to the consignor, if DejaNu has to clean or leather-condition purses!
Season Switch-Over Schedule:
March 15th...we begin taking SPRING clothing (such as Light-weight jackets, Capris, Bermuda Shorts, Spring prints)
May 15th...we begin taking SUMMER clothing (Such as Shorts, sandals, and Sundresses)
August 15th...we begin taking FALL clothing (Light-weight flannels, fleece, vests, jeans)
October 1st...we begin taking WINTER clothing (Coats, Wool items)
November 1st to December 5th...we accept Holiday Attire.
All Holiday Attire must be picked up by the consignor by January 7th or it will be donated.
**** For those wondering about why we don't take things in bags:
There have been cases of people storing clothes in garbage bags in a garage or back of the closet. In Two cases that I am aware of, loaded guns have been "hidden" and forgotten in the bags. One resulted in a fatality. There have been numerous cases of dead rats and mice and bugs. Or evidence of Mice, I have personally been biten twice by an insect, and I am highly allergic.
Remember, we don't know you, have never been to your house and don't know your family members. We also do not feel that clothing brought in garbage bags is well enough loved and cared for to meet our standards, in most cases.
Therefore, freshly laundered, pressed and on hangers is a must.
